Central bank: Ruble’s real effective rate rises 1.6% in July
MOSCOW, Aug 7 (PRIME) -- The Russian ruble real effective rate rose 1.6% in July and 7.7% in January–July, the central bank said on Wednesday citing preliminary data.
In real terms, the ruble rose 1.8% against the U.S. dollar in July and 2.1% against the euro.
